Cookie policy
Last updated 15 October 2026. If you only read one line: Sentry Sprinkler Protection's website sets no cookies of its own, which is why there is no cookie banner.
The short version
This website sets no cookies. Not essential ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones, and it stores nothing else on your device either. The one exception is the Google map that shows our Business Profile: it loads with the page, and when it does Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. We would rather tell you than let you find out.
How we count visits
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without storing anything on your device. It tells us how many people looked at which page and roughly where they came from (a search engine, a link, typed in), which country and what kind of device. It does not tell us who you are, it does not build a profile, and it does not follow you to other websites. Cloudflare already delivers this site, so no new company is involved. Cloudflare explains it in its own Web Analytics notes.
What we deliberately do not use
- No Google Analytics, and no other tracking that sets a cookie. We removed Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on 15 October 2026.
- No advertising or remarketing pixels. No Meta pixel, no LinkedIn tag.
- No session recording and no heatmaps.
- No third-party fonts. The typefaces are served from this site, so your IP address does not reach Google or anybody else for them.
- No embedded videos, no chat widget and no social media widgets.
- No selling or sharing of anything with data brokers.
The Google maps on this site
Every page carries our Google Business Profile on a Google map at the foot of it, the booking and contact pages show the same profile, and each page for a town we cover ends with it on a larger map. The maps load with the page, without a button to press first, because they are genuinely useful for deciding whether we cover you.
When a map loads, your browser contacts Google, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies on your device. Those are Google's cookies under Google's terms, not ours, and we get nothing back from them. Google explains what it collects in its own privacy policy. If you would rather the map did not load, every browser can block third-party frames and cookies, and nothing else on the page depends on it.
If you accepted analytics before 15 October 2026
Until then the site asked before running Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. If you said yes, the cookies they left (_ga, _ga_73VYM2WXE3, _clck and _clsk) are deleted the next time you open any page here, along with the answer the old banner remembered. Cookies that Microsoft set on its own domain (clarity.ms) are Microsoft's to clear; you can remove them in your browser settings.
If this ever changes
If we ever add anything that sets a cookie or tracks you, this page changes first, a consent banner appears, and nothing loads until you choose.
